Student Referral Policy

Encourage a Friend’s Future—Earn a £400 Voucher

The London College encourages community involvement by offering a referral reward to students and alumni who refer new learners. This initiative is designed to support word-of-mouth engagement and reward genuine advocacy—*not to influence admissions or enrolment decisions*.

How the Scheme Works

• There is no cap on the number of referrals you can make.
• Referrals must be genuine and made in good faith.
• Referrals must not be made under pressure, coercion, or misleading guidance.
• Rewards will only be issued when all eligibility criteria are met.
• Admissions decisions are made independently, based solely on the applicant’s academic and eligibility criteria—not on a referral.

Eligibility Criteria

Who Can Refer?

• Current students enrolled at The London College.
• Alumni who have completed a programme at The London College.
• Note: Referrers must not be in withdrawal, suspension, or in financial arrears with the College at the time of referral reward processing.

Who Can Be Referred?

• Anyone who meets the entry requirements for a programme offered directly by The London College.
• The individual must be a new applicant and not already in contact with the College.

Steps to Make a Referral

1. Share course information from The London College website.
2. The referred applicant must: Submit a full application and attend an interview. Provide your full name and student ID at both stages.
3. You must complete a Student Referral Form.
4. The College will: Review the application independently through its standard admissions process. Notify you once eligibility is confirmed.
5. If approved, you will receive a £400 voucher (subject to terms below).

Conditions for Reward Issuance

• The referred student is formally enrolled and has paid tuition fees in full, or is actively paying through a self-payment plan, or has secured funding via the Student Loans Company.
• Your name and student ID were provided at the time of application.
• The College has received the first tuition payment.
• Neither the referrer nor the referred student are in tuition arrears.

Reward Timing: Vouchers are issued approximately 4–6 months after the course start date, depending on programme duration and funding type.

Limitations and Exclusions

• Incomplete or fraudulent referrals.
• Students who withdraw before tuition payment is received.
• Referrals made after application submission.
• Commercial or misrepresented use of the scheme.
• The College reserves the right to audit referrals for authenticity and fairness.

Scheme Changes and Termination

The London College reserves the right to amend, pause, or terminate the scheme at any time. Where possible, changes will be communicated in advance. This scheme is subject to fair usage and designed to encourage genuine engagement, not influence academic decisions. Participation has no bearing on whether an applicant is accepted or funded. All claims and disputes are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Data Protection and Confidentiality

In line with the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR: – Personal data will be processed securely and lawfully. – Referrers will not receive updates on application progress or fee status, except to: – Confirm tuition fees have been received. – Verify eligibility and issue the reward.
