I have always been deeply passionate about nutrition and understanding how the human body works. Growing up, I saw several members of my family become seriously ill, and I began to notice a pattern - those who maintained positive eating habits and healthier lifestyles tended to stay well for longer. This early observation sparked my curiosity about how food, biology, and lifestyle choices impact health, and it continues to motivate my studies today.

A close friend who studies at The London College recommended the course to me, and I’m so glad they did. The flexibility of the HND programme fits perfectly around my part-time job, which was one of the main reasons I decided to enrol.

I also appreciate how supportive, organised, and approachable the teachers are - a big thank you to them for making learning so enjoyable! I especially love studying biology in depth and discovering how everything functions, from the cellular level all the way up to complex body systems.

In the future, I plan to progress to a university near my home in Aldershot to complete a full degree. The biggest challenge will be balancing this with my work as a Special Educational Needs (SEN) teacher, as most universities don’t offer the same flexibility that The London College provides.

My long-term goal is to work in the field of nutrition and women’s health. I want to be part of an organisation that focuses on individual needs rather than taking a “one-size-fits-all” approach. I believe this kind of personalisation is something that’s still missing in the industry, and I hope to make a real difference by helping people improve their health and wellbeing through tailored nutrition and education.
