Quality and Standards Review (QSR)
The QSR fo
r monitoring and intervention is the process QAA uses to provide evidence to the Office for Students (OfS) about whether registered providers referred by the OfS to QAA meet one or more of the Core practices of the UK Quality Code for Higher Education (the Quality Code).
QSR review was conducted at the London College in November 2019, and the review concluded that all the Core Practices have been ‘Met’ with ‘High Confidence’ at The London College.
Chartered Management Institute (CMI)
Our BA (Hons) Business Management is developed in close partnership with the CMI. This degree provides the perfect blend of academic insight and practical leadership skills.
On graduation, students will hold two respected qualifications that their your readiness for senior management and rapid career progression.
Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF)
The London College was awarded an overall Bronze rating in the 2023 Teaching Excellence Framework.
We are proud to have achieved a Silver rating for student experience, reflecting the continued enhancement and high quality of our academic provision. This progress highlights our strong commitment to delivering an outstanding educational experience for all students.
Our Bronze rating for student outcomes acknowledges the presence of several areas of excellence and reinforces our dedication to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning. Memberships
Joint Board of Moderators (JBM)
The Civil Engineering programme is accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators (JBM), which comprises the Institution of Civil Engineers, the Institution of Structural Engineers, the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation, the Institute of Highway Engineers, and the Permanent Way Institution. Together, these organisations represent over 100,000 of the world’s leading professional engineers.
Students enrolled on our Civil Engineering programmes are eligible to apply for membership with any of these professional bodies. Successful completion of the undergraduate programme fully satisfies the educational requirements for Incorporated Engineer (IEng) membership.

Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET)
S
tudents who successfully complete the BSc (Hons) Electrical and Electronic Engineering programme are eligible to apply for membership with the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).
This professional affiliation provides a recognised pathway toward achieving Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status, enhancing their credentials and career opportunities within the engineering industry.
UCAS
The Co
llege is a member of UCAS (the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service), the central organisation responsible for managing applications to higher education courses in the UK.
UCAS oversees the application process for all undergraduate programmes at The London College. Our Institution Code is L62.
