The Board of Governance serves as the senior decision-making authority of the College, responsible for considering and determining all matters of strategic importance to the institution’s operations.

The Board upholds the highest standards of corporate governance at all times, ensuring that its duties are carried out with integrity, transparency, and full regard for the proper conduct of public business.

Committees under the Board of Corporation

Academic Board

The Academic Board oversees and advises on all matters related to academic standards, teaching, learning, and the overall quality of the student experience. It reports directly to the Board.

Audit Committee

The Audit Committee advises the Board of the Corporation on the adequacy and effectiveness of the College’s internal control systems, risk management, governance, and value-for-money arrangements.

Planning and Resources Committee

The Planning and Resources Committee advises the Board of the Corporation on all financial, resource, and property matters, including associated risks, policies, controls, and long-term strategy.

Quality and Standards Committee

The Quality and Standards Committee ensures that the College’s quality assurance systems meet the requirements of relevant professional, statutory, and regulatory bodies. It reports to the Academic Board.

Programme Committee

The Programme Committee monitors and manages all aspects of programme delivery, ensuring effective student engagement in programme-related matters. It reports to the Quality and Standards Committee.
