London College Achieves Bronze Award in the Teaching Excellence Framework

London College has been awarded an overall Bronze rating in the latest Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) assessment. The college received high-quality ratings for student outcomes and very high-quality ratings for student experience across all areas.

The Teaching Excellence Framework, administered by the Office for Students (OfS), is a national initiative designed to help higher education providers enhance the quality and standards of teaching, learning, and student success.

TEF evaluations are based on rigorous quality benchmarks and include feedback gathered from students, alongside independent academic review. Each participating institution receives an overall rating, supported by two underpinning assessments—student experience and student outcomes.

The London College was awarded a Silver rating for Student Experience, reflecting excellence across multiple key areas. The TEF panel recognised The London college for delivering very high-quality teaching, assessment, course design, research and innovation, as well as staff professional development, academic support, learning resources, and student engagement.

The panel also commended the London College for its strong focus on widening participation among under-represented groups and for its positive impact on academic standards and student achievement.
